Steel or aluminium?
Every kilogram of a bull bar sits ahead of the front axle and comes out of your payload. Aluminium bars like the VIKOR Diablo keep that weight down, which leaves room for a winch, lights and the rest of the fitout. Steel bars from Hamer, Ironman 4x4 and Option 4WD are the traditional heavy option.
Loop or no loop?
No loop bars keep a clean, factory-looking face. Pre-runner bars add a centre hoop over the grille. Full hoop bars such as the Hamer King Series with Hoops also cover the headlights.

What is the best bull bar for a Next Gen Ford Ranger?
