Volkswagen Amarok NF (2023-Current) Diablo Pre-Runner Bull Bar - VIKOR
VIKOR INDUSTRIESA single-loop full front bumper replacement for the Volkswagen Amarok NF (2023-Current). The centre loop adds front end protection and takes the first hit from branches without sitting across the radiator. VIKOR build it from 5mm aluminium over a steel winch cradle and finish it in their Luxe Matte Black powdercoat.
What vehicles does this fit?
| Make | Model | Body | Years | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Volkswagen | Amarok NF | Dual Cab | 2023-Current | Direct fit |
| Volkswagen | Amarok 2H | Dual Cab | 2010-2022 | Does not fit |
| Ford | Ranger Next Gen (P703) | Dual Cab | 2022-Current | Does not fit |
VIKOR list this bar for the Amarok NF only. The NF and the Next Gen Ranger share a platform but not a front end, and VIKOR build a separate bar for the Ranger.
Key features
- Single centre loop for added front end protection
- Full bumper replacement. VIKOR state it adds 5mm to the length of the vehicle
- 5mm aluminium over a steel winch cradle and support brackets, approximately 51kg
- Luxe Matte Black powdercoat
- Integrated slot sized for a 30 inch light bar
- Winch ready. VIKOR list it as compatible with their Rescue VI 12,000lb winch
- Two tow hooks with recovery points, and two high lift jacking points
- VIKOR state the range is Australian owned, designed and engineered
The weight saving over steel is why most buyers land on an alloy bar. At around 51kg there is less mass at the nose, so the factory front springs are not already working hard before you load the tub. Against the No Loop version you are paying about 6kg for the loop and the extra front end protection that comes with it.
Compliance and safety systems
VIKOR state the Diablo range is ADR and airbag tested, and that it retains full functionality with the factory sensors, cameras and adaptive cruise control. Those are the manufacturer's test results. If you need the documentation for an insurer or an engineer, ask us and we will supply what VIKOR provide.
VIKOR also state a canbus high beam adaptor is required and it is not supplied with the bar. The NF Amarok runs its lighting through a canbus system, so the adaptor is what keeps high beam behaving normally once the front end is changed. Budget for it up front and order it with the bar, not after the vehicle is already apart.

Frequently asked questions
Where does a light bar mount?
There is an integrated slot in the bar sized for a 30 inch light bar, so you are not clamping anything to the loop to make it work. The light bar itself is not included. Tell us which one you are planning to run and we will check it against the slot before you order.
Does it come with lights?
Yes. Two VKX Cube LED lights are included, in Midnight finish as standard, along with a foldable number plate bracket.
Do I need the canbus high beam adaptor?
VIKOR state it is required and it is not supplied with the bar. Order it at the same time as the bar. It is the electrical half of the fitment and the part people most often leave out of the budget.
Will this fit the older Amarok 2H?
No. The NF launched in 2023 on a completely different platform to the 2H that ran from 2010 to 2022. Front panels, chassis rails and mounting points are all different, so check which generation you have before ordering.
Does the loop block your view?
A single loop sits in the driver's forward sightline in a way the no-loop bar does not. Most owners stop noticing it within a week, but it is a real difference and worth sitting in a vehicle with one fitted if you get the chance. What you get for it is more front end protection and about 6kg more bar.
