VIKOR INDUSTRIESA 6mm aluminium front bash plate for the Volkswagen Amarok NF (2023-Current), finished in VIKOR's Luxe Matte Black powdercoat. It replaces the thin factory undertray with a plate that will take a rock strike, and at roughly 5kg it does that without hanging real weight off the nose of the vehicle.

VIKOR list this plate for the Amarok NF and nothing else. It is not listed for the Next Gen Ranger or any other make, so do not order it on the assumption that a shared platform means a shared plate.

Alloy rather than steel is a deliberate choice here. A plate in this position bolts up at the very front of the vehicle, so every kilogram of it sits ahead of the front axle where you feel it in the steering and in how the front springs sit. Five kilos of 6mm aluminium takes the same rock strike, and it does not rust out from every stone chip.

Is this a full underbody protection set?
No. This is the front plate. Transfer case and fuel tank plates are separate items and are not part of this listing. If you want to work out what else is available for the NF Amarok, contact us and we will go through it with you.
Does it work with a VIKOR bull bar?
Yes. VIKOR list this plate as compatible with the Diablo Collection front bumpers and bull bars, and they quote the Diablo bar weights as the bar plus 5kg with this plate fitted. It also works on a standard front end as an upgrade from the factory plate.
Why aluminium instead of steel?
Position as much as weight. This plate sits ahead of the front axle, so its mass has an outsized effect on steering feel and on how hard the front springs are already working before you load anything. At 6mm thick it still takes the hit, and it does not rust.
Will it fit the older Amarok 2H?
No. The NF Amarok launched in 2023 on a different platform to the 2H that ran from 2010 to 2022, and the underbody mounting points are not shared. This plate is cut for the NF only.
