Modern diesels route part of the exhaust gas back into the engine through the EGR system. Combined with oil from the crankcase ventilation system, the exhaust particles build up until they block inlet manifolds and valves, reducing engine performance or causing failure.
How it works
The ProVent Ultimate separates and redirects oil and air from blow-by gas produced within the crankcase, with the option of returning the oil back to the sump. Direction-Plus states the kit does not void your vehicle warranty.
