Description, fitment and specifications
A washable pod filter with a 76mm (3 inch) inlet, developed by VIKOR for the Next Gen Ford Ranger Raptor (2022-Current) intake. Four layers of oil-treated cotton gauze, in black or red. 76mm is the outside diameter the filter clamps onto, so measure your intake pipe before you order.
What vehicles does this fit?
| Make | Model | Variant | Years | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ford | Next Gen Ranger Raptor (P703) | Raptor | 2022-Current | Direct fit |
| Ford | Next Gen Ranger (P703) | All non-Raptor variants | 2022-Current | Does not fit |
| Ford | Next Gen Everest (U704) | All | 2022-Current | Does not fit |
It does not suit an 89mm pipe. Getting the diameter wrong by a few millimetres means the filter will not seal, and an intake that does not seal is worse than the factory one. If your pipe is 89mm, buy the 3.5 inch version instead. It is also not a drop-in replacement for a factory panel filter.

A pod filter on its own is not a power upgrade. It is a component. It works when it sits inside a sealed airbox drawing cold air from outside the engine bay, and it does very little sitting exposed under a hot bonnet. Plan the box, then buy the filter to suit it.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I need 76mm or 89mm?
Measure the outside diameter of the pipe the filter will clamp onto. 76mm is the 3 inch filter, 89mm is the 3.5 inch. A few millimetres out and the filter will not seal, which lets unfiltered air past it. Measure the pipe rather than guessing from the engine size.
How do I clean it?
Wash the cotton gauze, let it dry fully, then re-oil it before it goes back on. Both steps matter. A damp element restricts airflow and can pull moisture into the intake, and dry unoiled gauze does not trap fine dust. VIKOR quote this on average every 5 years or 120,000km under normal highway use, and sooner if you run on dirt.
Will it make more power on its own?
No. A filter hanging under the bonnet draws hot air, and hot air makes less power than the factory setup does. The gain comes from the airbox around it, sealed and fed from outside the engine bay. Build the box first, then fit the filter.
