It sits across the rear window area, so it does take up some glass. Pirate Camp Co state the pattern lets you keep a clear view by placing items strategically. Most dual cab owners have already lost that view to headrests or a loaded back seat, and a mirror based reversing camera makes the trade a fair one.

Will it fit a Next Gen Ranger?

No. The Super Duty cabin structure and mounting points differ from the Ford Ranger Next Gen (P703), so this panel is cut specifically for the Super Duty. Pirate Camp Co list a separate panel for the P703 Ranger and another for the Everest Next Gen (U704).
