An electric roller shutter for the Ford Ranger Super Duty (2025-Current). Security is the usual reason people buy one, but the day-to-day reason is that it never leaves you carrying a lid. A hard lid gives you a flat surface and a storage problem the first time you need to load something tall. A shutter rolls out of the way and stays with the vehicle.

How do you operate it?
From your factory key or from the VIKORES mobile app, which will open, close or pause the shutter. A full cycle takes around 9 seconds and the speed is adjustable in the app. If you would rather have a physical switch, cabin or tub-mounted switches can be added at the time of professional installation. Tell your installer before the job starts, because it is a wiring decision rather than an afterthought.
Will it work with a sports bar or cabin guard already fitted?
VIKOR state that factory sports bars and other tub accessories can be used with the raised double channel shutter, and that those accessories will sit roughly 30mm to 35mm higher once the shutter is in. VIKOR also require the Ford factory J-brace to be fitted. Budget for the sports bar to come off and go back on, since VIKOR quote that as extra time on top of the 4 to 5 hour install.
How much weight can sit on it?
VIKOR recommend a dynamic load of no more than 75kg with the Ford factory J-brace installed. They also state that off-road use and overloading can scratch or fault the shutter, and that damage from either voids the manufacturer warranty. Treat it as a secure lid, not a roof rack.
Can I still carry long loads?
Yes. The shutter pauses part way rather than being only open or shut, so a load that runs over the tailgate sits under a partly closed shutter. That is something a hard lid cannot do without leaving the lid at home.
Does it fit a cab chassis with a tray?
No. The shutter mounts to the side rails of the factory tub, so it needs a pick-up body. A cab chassis Super Duty running a tray or a canopy has nothing for the rails to bolt to. Contact us and we will look at what suits that setup instead.
Is it covered by a warranty?
Yes. VIKOR back every Electric Roller Shutter with a 12-month warranty. They are engineered by the VIKOR team in Perth, Western Australia, so warranty support is local rather than run through an overseas importer.
