The VIKOR Diablo Hybrid is a triple-loop frontal protection bar built specifically for the Ford Ranger Super Duty (2025-Current). Hybrid construction is the point of it: 5mm aluminium skins over a steel winch cradle and supporting brackets, so mass stays off the front axle where it counts once you add a winch and start loading the vehicle. Designed and engineered in Australia and finished in VIKOR's Luxe Matte Black powdercoat.

The hybrid build is what separates this from most bars in its class. Full steel gets you strength and a weight problem in the same package. Full alloy saves the weight but gives you less to bolt a winch to. Aluminium through the structure with steel where the winch mounts is the sensible middle, and on a vehicle as heavy as the Super Duty the front axle needs that consideration.

Sensor and safety system compatibility

VIKOR state the bar is engineered to support the factory parking sensors, front camera and adaptive cruise control, and that the venting is set up to maintain cooling and air conditioning performance. Frontal protection is a regulated fitment in Australia. VIKOR are the manufacturer and hold the engineering data for this bar, so if you need that documentation for an insurer or an engineer, ask us and we will supply what VIKOR provide.

Frequently asked questions

Will this bar fit a standard Ranger Next Gen?

No. The Ranger Super Duty has its own chassis and front end geometry, separate from the Ranger Next Gen (P703). VIKOR build a different bar for each vehicle. Ordering the wrong one is an expensive mistake on a part this size, so check the build plate before you order.

Can I run a winch?

Yes. VIKOR prep the bar for their Rescue VI 12,000lb winch and state the clutch stays accessible once the bar is on. The winch itself, the wiring, the isolator and the fitting are all separate.

Does it come with lights?

Yes. Two VKX Cube LED lights are included, in Midnight finish as standard, along with a foldable number plate bracket and fitting instructions. The in-bar slot for a 30 inch light bar is a separate mounting position and the light bar itself is not included.

Why hybrid construction instead of full steel?

Weight, and where that weight sits. A bull bar hangs ahead of the front axle, so every kilogram works against the front springs and comes out of your payload. Aluminium through the bar with steel at the winch cradle gives you the frontal protection without the full penalty of a steel replacement bar, which leaves you room for the winch and the rest of the fitout.

What does triple loop mean?

Three loops across the face of the bar rather than a single centre hoop. VIKOR describe it as a welded centre hoop with matching outer hoops covering the headlights and the grille, which gives more structure across the front of the vehicle than an open-face bar. It is the most visually aggressive option in the Diablo range, which is either the reason you buy it or the reason you do not.
