The 50mm square receiver is the Australian standard and is what both the factory Ford tow bar and the common aftermarket bars use. If you have fitted a light-duty bar with a 40mm receiver, this cover will not suit it.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my Ranger if I have an aftermarket tow bar?
Almost certainly. The cover suits any 50mm square receiver, which is the Australian standard and what the great majority of aftermarket bars use. Measure the opening if you are unsure. If it is 50mm square, this fits. If it is 40mm, it will not.
Does it stay in at highway speed and off-road?
Yes. The ribbed sides compress against the inside of the receiver and hold it by friction, the same way a factory blanking plug does. It is designed to be removed by hand, so it will come out if you pull it, but it will not fall out on corrugations.
Do I have to take it out to tow?
Yes. Pull it out before you slide your tow ball mount or hitch in, then push it back in once you have unhitched. It takes a second and there is nothing to unbolt.
Will it fit a Ranger Raptor?
Yes. The Raptor uses the same 50mm square receiver as the rest of the Next Gen range, so the same cover suits it.
