What is included
The four items listed above are what ships. Not included: fusing, any wiring beyond what GME supply in the pack, and antenna upgrades. Pirate Camp Co note that grouped bundle images are used for marketing and do not always show the exact brackets or radio supplied, so work from the list above.
Frequently asked questions
Does fitting this require drilling?
No. The bonnet aerial mount uses the factory hinge bolts, and the module and handpiece mounts pick up existing points behind and around the dash. Removing dash trim without breaking clips is the fiddly part rather than the mounting itself, so work slowly on the first panel.
XRS-330 or XRS-335?
The brackets are the same either way, so this is a decision about the radio. The XRS-335C is GME second generation XRS Connect hardware and Pirate Camp Co list it as the current pack, with a bundle built around it listed separately. If you already know which GME suits you, order the matching bundle rather than buying the radio and brackets apart.
Will it fit an Everest as well as a Ranger?
Yes. The Next Gen Ford Ranger (P703), Next Gen Ranger Raptor and Everest (U704) share the bonnet hinge and dash arrangements these brackets work from, so one bundle covers all three. The Ford Ranger Super Duty needs its own bundle with different hardware.
Will this affect my factory warranty?
Fitting an accessory does not void a vehicle warranty in Australia under Australian Consumer Law. A dealer can decline a claim where the accessory or its installation caused the fault, so fuse the radio supply properly and keep wiring clear of airbag components behind the dash.
