Why ASA and not PLA
PLA softens and distorts at temperatures a parked ute reaches easily in an Australian summer. Pirate Camp Co print these in ASA to hold shape and UV resistance in the weather. The finish is textured and low profile, so the blanks sit flush and match the panel instead of looking like a patch.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need every blank in the set?
Probably not on day one, and that is fine. The set covers every cavity in the panel so you can fill whatever you are not using yet and pull a blank out later as you add a switch or an outlet. Keep the spares with the vehicle paperwork rather than losing them in a drawer.
Will they fit a Super Duty tub panel?
No. Pirate Camp Co list these as fitting their tub switch panels in the Ford Ranger, Ranger Raptor and Volkswagen Amarok, all trim levels. The Ford Ranger Super Duty panel is a different part with a different cavity layout.
Do they actually keep water out?
They close off the cavity, which is the main thing. An open switch cutout in a tub takes water straight through the panel every time you hose the ute out or drive through rain. Blanks are a small part that stops corrosion behind a panel you would otherwise not think about until it fails.
Can I take them back out later?
Yes. The blanks are designed to be removable, so adding a switch or an Anderson plug in six months is a matter of popping a blank out rather than cutting anything. That is the practical case for buying the full set rather than only what you need today.
