Ford Ranger Next-Gen (2022+) ARB Compressor Filter Relocation - Pirate Camp Co
Pirate Camp Co.Moves the air filters away from a twin ARB compressor mounted under the tub. Left where they are, the filters sit low, in the spray, and they load up with mud and water fast. The kit relocates them so the compressor keeps drawing from somewhere dry and clean.

Why it is worth doing
It is a cheap part that saves a compressor rebuild, which is the sort of maths worth doing before a trip rather than after one. A compressor that has drawn muddy water through its filter does not usually announce the problem until you need air at the top of a hill.

Frequently asked questions
Which compressor setup does it suit?
Pirate Camp Co make it for a twin ARB compressor on the Next Gen Ford Ranger and Raptor, sitting on their under-tub compressor mount. If your compressor is mounted somewhere else, check the hose routing against your own installation, because the kit is designed around where the filters sit on that particular setup.
Does fitting this require drilling?
No. Pirate Camp Co state it is a full bolt in job using factory bolt holes and captive nuts, with no drilling, no cutting and no modifications.
Will it work with a single compressor?
The kit is built for a twin ARB compressor. A single unit has one filter rather than two and sits differently under the tub, so check the hose routing against your own installation rather than assuming half the kit will do the job.
Where do the filters end up?
Up and out of the spray, which is the point. Anything mounted low behind a wheel arch spends its life in mud, water and stones. Moving the intake somewhere dry means the compressor draws clean air, and the filter elements last long enough to be worth changing rather than replacing.
