Does it work with a tub liner?

It depends which liner you have. A Ford spray-in liner keeps the tub floor close to standard dimensions, so a drawer system sits down properly on it. A thick plastic drop-in liner changes the floor height and the wall profile, which is where clearance problems start. Check what is in your own tub first.

Can I still run a tonneau or hard lid over it?

Usually, and height is what decides it. The drawer sits only 190mm high externally, which is low for a system of this type. Measure the clearance under your cover against that figure rather than assuming it will close.

Can I fit a fridge as well?

Yes, and it is a common combination. Ordering the passenger side drawer only leaves the driver's side clear for a fridge slide or a jerry can holder. If you order both sides you get the full width of tub floor, and the braced top structure means a fridge can sit on top of the drawers instead.
