Ford Ranger Next-Gen (2022+) Dash Switch Cluster, XLT & Sport - Pirate Camp Co
Pirate Camp Co.A panel that fills the dash of the Ford Ranger Next Gen (P703) XLT and Sport so aftermarket switches sit flush where the factory ones would. Pop out the factory USB-A/USB-C socket, drop the bottom tab into that hole, then push in and up until the top of the panel clips into the air vents below the in-dash screen. Nothing is drilled and no switches hang off a bracket under the column.

Why trim matters here
The XLT and Sport dash differs from the XL and XLS, and from the Wildtrak and Platinum, so Pirate Camp Co make a separate cluster for each. They also state this panel does not suit MY26.5 and later.
The reason to fit one early is that it changes how you approach the rest of the build. Once the switches have a home, adding a light bar, a compressor or a fridge circuit is a wiring job rather than a fabrication job.

Frequently asked questions
Does this suit the Wildtrak?
No. The Wildtrak and Platinum use a different dash layout to the XLT and Sport, so they take their own cluster. This is the most common ordering mistake on this part. Look at the blank switch positions on your own fascia and compare them against the images.
Does it suit a MY26.5 Ranger?
No. Pirate Camp Co state this cluster does not suit MY26.5 and later.
Which switches does it take?
Toyota short switches, sold separately. Pirate Camp Co list them alongside the cluster, together with a UHF pass through connector that suits the same panel.
Does fitting this require drilling?
No. The cluster uses the factory USB socket opening and clips into the air vents below the in-dash screen, so nothing is cut and no holes are made. The wiring is the bigger part of the job. Run switch feeds back to a fused distribution point rather than tapping into existing vehicle circuits.
Will this affect my factory warranty?
Fitting an accessory does not void a vehicle warranty in Australia under Australian Consumer Law. A dealer can decline a claim where the accessory or its installation caused the fault, so keep accessory wiring fused, routed cleanly and well away from airbag components behind the dash.
