Ford F-150 (2024.5+) Electric Side Steps - VIKOR
VIKOR INDUSTRIESPowered side steps for the Ford F-150 (2024.5+). They swing out and drop when a door opens, then tuck back under the sill when it shuts. VIKOR warrant them for 12 months. The reason people fit them is height: an F-150 on stock suspension is already a long step up, and a lift makes it worse.
What vehicles does this fit?
| Make | Model | Variant | Body | Years | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ford | F-150 (facelift) | All variants | Crew Cab | 2024.5+ | Direct fit |
| Ford | F-150 (pre-facelift) | - | All cab styles | 2021-2024 | Does not fit - VIKOR make a separate set (VESSF150-21) |
Side steps are cab-length specific and this part number is the facelift fitment. The earlier F-150 takes a different set, so order against your build date rather than the model year on the paperwork.
Key features
- Deploys on door open, retracts under the sill on close
- Retracted steps do not cut into side clearance on tracks
- 12 month VIKOR manufacturer warranty
Once you add a lift, the step-up becomes a genuine problem for shorter passengers, kids and anyone with a dodgy knee. Fixed side steps solve that but they hang there permanently, collecting mud and cutting into your side clearance. These retract out of the way.

Sensor and safety system compatibility
The steps mount under the sill and run off the truck's electrics. They need a power feed and a door trigger, so plan on a professional install rather than a driveway job.

Not included: fitting. These need a power feed and door trigger wiring.
Frequently asked questions
Why electric rather than fixed steps?
Fixed steps hang below the sill permanently, so they collect mud, catch on ruts and kerbs, and cut into your side clearance on a track. Electric steps only exist in that space while a door is open. On a lifted F-150 you get the low step-up without carrying a permanent obstacle down each side.
Can I install them myself?
The brackets are a bolt-on job, but the steps also need a power feed and a trigger tapped off the door circuit. That part is best done by an auto electrician or an installer who works on these regularly. Fitting is not included in the price.
What warranty do they carry?
VIKOR warrant them for 12 months.
Will they fit a 2021-2024 F-150?
No. VIKOR make a separate set for the earlier truck under part number VESSF150-21. The changeover landed part way through 2024, which is why it is written as MY2024.5 rather than a clean model year. Send us the build date off the compliance plate and we will match the steps to it.
Will they fit a Regular Cab or Super Cab?
VIKOR list this set for the crew cab, which is the body the F-150 is sold new in here. Step length and bracket spacing are cab specific, so tell us your cab style and we will tell you what is available.
