Why fit a platform
The Everest cargo area is a difficult shape. With the third row folded you get a step, a slope, and trim you would rather not load against. The platform bridges all of it and gives you one level surface to stack and strap to. Gear stops sliding forward into the seat backs every time you brake, which is the real reason people fit one.
Standard or XL
The standard platform sits over the top of the third row seats and lifts out in minutes, so the seats stay in the vehicle. The XL is longer at 1060mm x 930mm, and Pirate Camp Co state its installation requires the third row seats to be removed. Choose the standard if the third row still gets used. Choose the XL if it does not and you want the extra floor and the storage space underneath.

Frequently asked questions
Does the third row still work with it fitted?
Not while it is in. Pirate Camp Co state the third row seats cannot be used with the platform installed. The difference from the XL is that the standard version sits over the top of those seats and comes out in minutes, so the seats stay in the vehicle and you get them back for weekday duties.
Will it fit an older Everest?
No. This platform is cut for the Everest Next Gen (U704). The previous Everest UA has a different cargo bay shape and the platform will not locate correctly in it.
Can I mount drawers on top of it?
The platform gives you a flat, level surface to build on rather than the factory slope, which is exactly what a drawer system needs. Drawers are not included. Work out your drawer footprint against the 1060mm x 740mm platform area before you buy both.
Can I still get to the spare or the underfloor storage?
The platform sits above the factory floor, so anything stored underneath it becomes a lift-out job rather than a reach-in one. Plan for that. Most owners keep recovery gear and tools on top and treat the underfloor space as long term storage rather than daily access.
