Ford Ranger Next-Gen (2022-Current) V2 Side Steps - Option 4WD
OPTION 4WDThe Option 4WD V2 Side Steps replace the factory Next-Gen Ranger steps with a 3mm steel step and rail set in matte black powdercoat. They bolt to the sill mounting points Ford already put in the body, so there is no drilling and no cutting. Brackets and fitting hardware are in the box.
The factory step on a Next-Gen Ranger is a thin pressed panel that flexes under a boot and dents if you put a jack near it. The V2 is a fabricated steel step with a treaded top face and a full-length rail behind it, so it takes weight properly and gives the lower half of the vehicle something to look at.

Fitting and installation
The kit uses the factory side step mounting points, so the brackets bolt straight up with no modification to the body. Each step is a little over two metres long and the pair weighs about 20kg, so it is a much easier job with someone holding one end while you start the bolts.

Will these fit a Next-Gen Ranger Raptor?
No. Option 4WD build a separate side step for the Next-Gen Raptor under a different part number. This one, OPTV2SS-F22, is for the standard Next-Gen Ranger.
Do I have to drill the body?
