Ford Ranger PX2/PX3 (2015-2022) Diablo Bull Bar (Full Guard) - VIKOR

A full-loop alloy front bar for the Ford Ranger PX2 and PX3 (2015-2022). The wings come up over the headlights and the centre loop closes off the grille, so the whole front end sits behind metal. Lightweight aluminium finished in VIKOR's Luxe Matte Black powdercoat.

This is the version to buy if you work in scrub or on stations where branches and stock are the real risk, not kerbs. The trade-off is visual. It is a heavier presence than the No Loop and you give up some of the factory bonnet line for it.

Sensor and safety system compatibility

VIKOR state the bar maintains compatibility with factory safety features. On a PX3 the systems in question are the front parking sensors in the bumper and the radar cruise and AEB hardware behind the grille. A full guard also puts metal in front of the headlights, so aim is worth checking after fitting. Frontal protection is a regulated fitment in Australia. Frequently asked questions

Why buy the Full Guard over the No Loop?

Scrub. The wings put metal over the headlights and the loop closes off the grille, so a branch that would otherwise take out a headlight hits the bar instead. If you work on stations or in tight bush tracks that is worth real money. If you mostly drive sealed roads, the No Loop looks better and weighs less.

Does the guard affect headlight performance?

The wings sit in front of the headlights, so it is worth having the aim checked after fitting. Owners who run a full guard usually add driving lights anyway, and the loop gives you somewhere solid to mount them.

Will it fit a PX1?

No. The PX1 ran from 2011 to 2015 with a different front bumper and grille to the PX2 facelift. This bar is cut for the PX2 and PX3. The changeover was mid-2015, so check your build plate if your Ranger is from that year.

Is it much heavier than the No Loop?

There is more material in it, so yes. All three Diablo bars are built from aluminium rather than steel, which is why the Full Guard is still a sensible choice on a PX front end where a full steel guard would have the nose sitting low before you add a winch.
